Marine Corps League Auxiliary #137 donates to James Haley Hospital for Christmas
MCLA #137 recently made their annual Christmas donation to the veterans at James Haley VA Hospital. Over $300 worth of items were donated, including toiletries, shower shoes, T-shirts, earphones. etc. At the same time, MCLA #137 presented a check to Haley Hospital for $150 to be used by the patients for snacks, ice cream, pizza, etc.

Marine Corps League Auxiliary, Spring Hill Unit #137, held their annual yard sale on March 11 and 12 to raise funds for the Veterans and various programs in the community. A special thank you to Bonnie and Loren Perrin for once again hosting the sale at their home. We couldn't have done it without you!!!
Marine Corps League Auxiliary Donates to HPH Hospice CAP Camp
Marine Corps League Auxiliary, Spring Hill Unit #137, recently donated funds to the HPH Hospice Children's Assistance Program (CAP) Camp. The program is a therapeutic grief camp designed to assist middle and high school aged children who have experienced the death of a loved one. Marine Corps League Auxiliary's Annual Christmas Donation to James A. Haley Veterans Hospital
Marine Corps League Auxiliary, Spring Hill Unit #137, recently made its annual Christmas donation to the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital. In addition to items for the Christmas Distribution Program, 500 stars with a "thank you for service message" were provided to be distributed to all the inpatients at the hospital. Donations for any of the community projects can be given to an officer of the Auxiliary Unit #137 or to the Marine Corps League Detachment Officers, or mailed to the MCL with the project listed on the envelope and check/money order.

Three Marine Corps League Auxiliary, Spring Hill Unit, members recently received the President's Volunteer Service Award, presented by the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation for their outstanding volunteer service to our nation. Auxiliary Judge Advocate Meets Stars Recipient

Marine Corps League Auxiliary Judge Advocate Joan Johnson met Master Sgt. William C. Poe at a recent Withlacoochee River Electric Company Event where he lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Master Sgt. Poe and his unit, stationed in Kuwait, received 40 thank you stars from the Auxiliary Stars for the Troops Program.
