Again this year we were able to complete a very successful Toys for Tots campaign due in part to the hard work of the coordinators and the many volunteers who worked so hard to insure that 4,213 children of Hernando County would have a very Merry Christmas.

Central High School and the Naval JROTC Program are to be commended for their outstanding support to the Toys for Tots Program. It would have been next to impossible to do it with out them.

Also the Brian R. Buesing Young Marines who worked so hard on Post Office Day collecting and sorting toys and directing traffic on distribution day made a significant contribution.

The MCLA Unit #137 who devote so much time and effort to the program stepped up this year with a donation of $1,500.00 to help defray the operational cost.

My sincere thanks to the Co-Coordinators and all the volunteers that worked so hard and gave so much of their time, energy and resources to make Toys for Tots the overwhelming success it is.

Thank you,

Bob Ross, Toys for Tots Program, Coordinator
