Thank you Toys for Tots
Co-Coordinators and Volunteers

USMCR Toys for Tots Program of Hernando County Sponsored by the Marine Corps League Detachment 708 has a successful 2011 campaign due to the hard work of the coordinators, the many volunteers and the Community who gave so much of their time, energy and recourses to insure that 4,227 children of Hernando County would have a very Merry Christmas.

Central High School and the Naval JROTC Program are to be commended for their outstanding support to the Toys for Tots Program. Every year they get better and better with the set up and distribution.

Also the Brian R. Buesing Young Marines unit worked so hard on Post Office Day collecting and sorting toys and directing traffic on distribution day made an outstanding contribution.

The MCLA Spring Hill Unit  who devote so much time and effort to the program stepped up again this year with a donation of $1,500.00 to help defray the operational cost. Four out of Five Assistant Coordinator are from the Unit.

My sincere thanks to the Co-Coordinators, Community and the volunteers that worked so hard and gave so much of their time, energy and resources to make Toys for Tots the overwhelming success it is.

Thank you, Bob Ross, Toys for Tots Program, Coordinator
